Potassium alum crystal eliminates unpleasant body odours. It is important that when using a crystal in the form of a deodorant, it does not clog pores, and thereby does not suppress the formation of sweat, or disrupt the normal thermoregulation of the body. Applied to damp skin, alum fights the formation of odour-causing bacteria. Alum moistened with cold water has the ability to bind sweat with its hygroscopic properties. The pores are narrowed, but neither completely closed nor clogged. In addition, the antibacterial and astringent properties have an odour neutralising effect. The fresh smell of sweat that occurs during the day disappears easily, which has been proven in extreme conditions.
